Livin' The Dream with Birds x LIV GOLF  

We've always believed in putting with a driver, embracing creativity, and rewriting the rules of traditional golf apparel, so when LIV Golf reached out to us and wanted to collaborate on their debut Adelaide event, we knew we were in for a mad good time.

THE COLLAB.

From our first tee time, the synergy between Birds and LIV Golf was obvious. We shared a burning passion for pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and injecting a fresh wave of style and attitude into the world of golf.

Our collaboration with LIV Golf was more than just stitching together threads and slapping on logos. It was about creating a fusion of style, performance and attitude to resonate with golfers who dared to be different. And it was VERY well received. 

Inspired by old school Australiana postcards, the collection paid homage to local Adelaide industries & gave a cheeky nod to the commissioner (The Shark) that we just couldn’t resist adding in. 

THE PILGRIMAGE.

We loaded up the team from our Byron Bay HQ, flew down to Adelaide and rented a cool little apartment right on the beach in Glenelg, such a sweet little spot to hang after cruising the fairways all day.
 
The weather absolutely turned it on for blue bird days, perfectly tempered and 54 holes of epic LIV Golf. In between the 'Oooh's and Aaah's of some incredible shots we were insanely proud to see so many people wearing the gear we made for LIV which consisted of 4 products, an all over print bucket hat, matching polo, t-shirt & nylon snapback hat, all of which, you could see coming from a mile away in the massive marching crowds.

By end of Day 1 it was clear that the collaboration hit the mark with the amount of spectators sporting the drop, including and not limited to Fisher rocking the polo shirt on some 'Watering Hole' shenanigans seen around the world and again for his sunset gig on course where he served up an ice cold shoey for Cam Smith and sent the party into absolute orbit. 

One of the most surreal moments for our team was when Chase Koepka aced the Watering Hole (also LIV's debut & sort after HIO). The entire Birds Team were just behind the infamous 12th Hole, hydrating with some brown gatorades and admiring all the Aussie fans walking around wearing our gear, when on the massive beer garden screen we watched this shot zip in at the pin, roll up and into the cup. The volume of which the crowd celebrated, including us, was absolutely incredible! A most insane high for all the things in that slice of time.
