There are so many cool parts to this legendary story that will no doubt go down as one of sporting's greatest. I wonder how many planets had to align for this outcome, if you really think about how it played out.
After his gut wrenching dust up with a shark last year... in the final, at the same event, at the very same wave, he returned confronting his fears and surfed with more speed, flow and precision than ever.
